LAWN MAINTENANCE

  • Lawn Care

LawnThe standard Above All lawn care plan includes weekly mowing of your turf with edging and weed eating included in each mowing to give your lawn a professional look. We will take care of any grass or weeds that may have come up in the cracks of the driveway or walkways to your home. All surfaces will be blown free of any debris that may have been left behind.

  • Lawn Aeration

Aeration is the process of punching holes in your lawn to allow water, oxygen, and fertilizer to better reach the roots of your lawn. Soils heavy in clay can became easily compacted, and make it difficult for your lawn to get all of the necessary elements (moisture, nutrients, and oxygen) it needs to grow.

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

  • Mulching

We have access to numerous different kinds of mulch depending on the needs of your garden.

FERTILIZATION

We are excited to announce that we have brought our fertilization service in house. Luke Stover will be managing this program; he is a licensed and certified applicator, with 6 years of experience in the business. We are excited about this opportunity and the ability to further enhance the quality of your lawn. Below this paragraph you will find a description of our yearly 7-step program.

Treatment (1) Spring Liquid Pre-Emergent and Post Emergent
This treatment is applied to control grassy and broadleaf weed development and growth. These are the most unsightly weeds that develop in your lawn. This application will allow us to keep your lawn healthy and weed free throughout the summer growth months.

Treatment (2) Spring Fertilizer
Treatment 2 is a nitrogen rich fertilizer that prepares your lawn for the upcoming growing season. Should any broadleaf weeds still be present, another application of post emergent will be utilized to further deter growth and development.

Treatment (3) Mid Summer Fertilizer
This treatment provides a combination of nitrogen and potassium. Potassium aids in the development of healthy root systems. These root systems are vital in keeping a rich, healthy lawn through the high heat summer months. Spot treatments are also applied at this time to control and weeds that may have popped up.

Treatment (4) Late Summer Fertilizer
A combination of nitrogen, potassium, and iron, this fertilizer is coated with a slow release compound to provide your lawn with the necessary nutrients to stay green through the end of the season. Spot treatments may also be applied should any weed growth have occurred.

Treatment (5) Fall Fertilizer
Fall fertilization is just as important as your first treatment. This treatment is developed to aid in the support of your lawns root system. By applying high amounts of potassium to the roots system, it will enhance the amount of nutrient your lawn can utilize. A strong root system is vital to your lawn as it moves into the winter months, a common time for the development of spring dead spot.

Treatment (6) Fall Pre Emergent
A liquid application to control Poa annua and winter broadleaf weeds. Taking this step allows your lawn to stay weed free throughout the dormant winter months, a common time for weed development. As your lawn thins through the winter months it becomes an easy target for weed growth.

Treatment (7) Lime Application
This application is utilized to neutralize your lawns soil. Yearly fertilization needs to be neutralized following a growing season. Fertilizer lowers the pH level in your lawn, lime brings it back to the proper levels. In our area, lawns should be between a pH of 6.5 and 7.0.
